Business transfers in Spain: how executive ground transport works from Madrid

Privyde5 min

A practical guide for travel managers: fixed fares known before booking, closed corridor rates across Spain in both directions, invoicing for companies and what the operational guarantees actually are.

Privyde operates executive transfers across Spain from a Madrid base, with every fare closed before booking: a fixed price for transfers within Madrid and to Barajas Airport (from 160 €), hourly blocks for meeting days, and closed corridor rates for long distance, with the same fare in both directions: Madrid to the city or the city to Madrid. There is no meter and no demand pricing, which is what makes the cost plannable for a travel programme.

Fares a travel manager can put in a budget

Long-distance corridors carry one closed rate that includes VAT, tolls, fuel and the driver's return to base: Madrid-Barcelona from 1,800 €, Madrid-Valencia from 1,000 €, Madrid-Marbella from 1,600 €. The corridor fare applies from any pickup point in Madrid to any drop-off in the destination city; there is no small print re-pricing the last kilometres. The full list is on the transfers page, and the quote engine returns the exact closed amount for any date instantly.

Booking for others, paying as a company

Most corporate bookings are made by an assistant or travel manager for someone else. The process is built for that: book through the quote engine, by email or by WhatsApp, name the passenger, and payment is settled by secure Stripe link (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay). No cash, and nothing is settled in the car. Companies with recurring volume can move to monthly invoicing under a framework agreement; our commercial team sets that up directly.

The operational guarantees

  • Airport pickups include real-time flight tracking and complimentary waiting counted from the actual landing: 60 minutes on international flights, 45 on domestic.
  • Chauffeurs who speak English (or French) can be requested for any service with 24 hours' notice.
  • Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before a transfer or hourly service, and up to 72 hours before a long-distance journey (50% refund between 72 and 24 hours).
  • Coverage spans continental Spain in both directions from Madrid, plus continental Portugal and the accessible south of France with 48 hours' notice.

Where this fits, and where it doesn't

Privyde is not a local operator in every Spanish city: local pickups in Barcelona or Valencia are not the product. The product is the corridor: executive long distance anchored to Madrid, in either direction, plus everything within Madrid and its 150 km radius. For a programme with that shape, one supplier covers the whole map.

For framework agreements and recurring corporate volume, see business services or contact the team directly. For a one-off booking, the quote engine closes the fare in under a minute.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can our company be invoiced monthly instead of paying per ride?

Yes. Companies with recurring volume can operate under a framework agreement with monthly invoicing. One-off bookings are settled by secure Stripe payment link, which also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Can I book a transfer for a colleague or a visiting client?

Yes, most corporate bookings work that way. You book and pay; we take the passenger’s name and flight details, and they are met without having to arrange anything themselves. A meet & greet welcome with a name sign can be added on airport pickups.

Do fares change with traffic, time of day or demand?

No. Fares are fixed and known before booking. The only surcharges are scheduled ones disclosed before you confirm, such as the night window (23:00-06:00) or public holidays.

Do you cover routes that do not start in Madrid?

Long-distance corridors work in both directions, so Barcelona to Madrid costs the same as Madrid to Barcelona. What we do not offer is local service within other cities: Barcelona, Valencia or Seville are corridor endpoints, not local fleets.

How far in advance should a business transfer be booked?

Bookings are confirmed on availability through the quote engine or our team. International journeys to Portugal or the south of France require 48 hours’ notice, and add-ons such as an English-speaking chauffeur need 24 hours.
